Saving lives at Clalit Galei Yam Clinic
The vigilance of the staff at Clalit Galei Yam Clinic in Kiryat Yam, Haifa District and Western Galilee, saved the life of a patient
When Mila Bykov arrived at the clinic, Kochava Goldstein, the clinic's administrative director, immediately recognized that something was wrong and approached Mila to ask how she was doing. When she saw that she was not feeling well, she immediately escorted her to the nurses' room, where she was greeted by Ilana Beamon, the clinic's director of nursing.
The patient's condition deteriorated and Ilana, who understood the seriousness of the situation, quickly called Dr. Amir Ranana to provide assistance. Mila suffered from significant shortness of breath, decreased consciousness, and low oxygen saturation. Ilana connected her to oxygen, measured her vital signs, and performed an ECG. At the same time, on Dr. Ranana's instructions, Kochava called for a mobile NTA, which quickly arrived and evacuated her for further treatment at the hospital.
At the hospital, Mila was immediately transferred to the shock room and then to the intensive care unit, where she was diagnosed with severe heart failure. After stabilizing, Mila was transferred to the cardiac ward, where she recovered and was released for rehabilitation.
After rehabilitation, Mila came to the clinic to thank the team for saving her life.
The life-saving case illustrates the importance of medical alertness and rapid response in emergency situations. It also demonstrates how a combination of early identification, rapid professional treatment, and perfect coordination can save lives.
Well done to you. Have a lovely day.
Wow, well done to you 👏
Respect!!! Artillery crew.
Hahahaha let's compare this to cases where people have not returned to normal life because of the professionalism of Clalit, of course Maccabi and all the health services. It's in our blood (Israelis) to throw away work and say "I didn't notice"
