(haipo) – Mor Shaal, 38, from Haifa, began her social activity by helping street dwellers. For the past five years, she has been working diligently to rehabilitate street dwellers, and even founded an association dedicated entirely to this purpose. Shaal says that thanks to her activity, 15 street dwellers have been able to rehabilitate, reintegrate into society, and lead a normal lifestyle. She also emphasizes that thanks to her activity, the way the public perceives street dwellers has changed, awareness of them has increased, and so has concern for them.
"I realized something was wrong"
In the past year, she has begun to take an active part in the demonstrations taking place in the German colony in Haifa. Mor says that at the first demonstration she attended, on 29/5/24, she was surprised to discover that the demonstrators, most of them Israeli Arabs, were carrying signs and chanting slogans such as "With blood and spirit, we redeemed Palestine." "I realized that something was wrong," she says. According to her, two soldiers who were there explained to her the meaning of the chants and noted that they expressed messages of a future takeover.
Advertising on social networks and recruiting supporters
Aal began documenting the demonstrations and posting the videos on social media. As a result, a protest arose against the chants that were heard, and the police even intervened and dispersed the demonstrations. Following the documentation, a confrontation arose between her and one of the protesters, who she said hurled harsh statements at her, such as "more and more soldiers dying" and "a country of murderers."
She later contacted the CEO of the "Tselmo" organization, Shai Glick, and following him, she established a dedicated WhatsApp group for opponents of these demonstrations. Today, the group has about 500 members, who come to the demonstrations to protest in return.

Reveal the identity of the protesters
Aal realized that more than counter-demonstrations, it was important to her to show the public who was behind the protests. She began taking close-up photos of the demonstrators, sometimes without flags or identification marks, and posting the footage on social media. Aal says she tried to talk to Arab demonstrators, but most of them refused to cooperate, and sometimes even cursed at her. “I ask questions to understand why they are protesting, but I usually don’t get answers. The Jews who are protesting with them, on the other hand, explain that they are worried about the children in Gaza or believe that ending the fighting will bring peace,” she says.
"The people of Israel forget"
"Such demonstrations endanger the country," she says. "After October 7, there is no place for such a thing in our country. There was a moment when everyone was silent, but over time these voices return, because the people of Israel forget." Sha'al believes that the protesters are "testing the waters" and trying to understand how far the boundaries of freedom of expression can be pushed. "It is especially worrying that Israeli Arabs, who enjoy all the good things in the country and the affirmative action in their favor, support the Gazans and issue calls against the state."
'Finger in the Eye' in the theater hall
In addition to her activity in the demonstrations, Shaal attended the play "The Bathroom Queen" by Hanoch Levin, which was presented at Beit HaGefen, with the participation of actress Mona Hua. Shaal mentions that Hua is credited with harsh statements, including her claim that "they did not rape or behead," referring to the October 7 massacre. The play, Shaal says, included mockery of the IDF and Jewish heritage, and there were several times during the play in which actors held imaginary weapons and "shot" at the audience. "It's called taking a finger and sticking it in the eye," she says.
Shaal's anger grew until she turned to the actress and shouted at her that "her place is in Gaza." As a result, they tried to remove her from the hall, and she was eventually removed from the venue.
Documentation that changes policy
Sha'al emphasizes that posting her videos on social media leads not only to public reactions but also to pressure on decision-makers. She says that, following her recordings, many citizens are appealing to Knesset members, mayors, and media figures to act to prevent demonstrations and displays of this kind. "We can't continue to act as if October 7th didn't happen. The country has changed," she concludes.
They are not guilty, like those who allow them to stage demonstrations.
Unfortunately, the police agree to these demonstrations and give permission for them to take place.
And the mayor only cares about the chair, like all members of the Knesset.
It is truly humiliating to see residents of the country supporting terrorist organizations, forgetting what we have experienced and are experiencing every day, the despicable actions of the bloodthirsty residents of Gaza and the territories.
If there's anything dangerous to the country, it's people like Shai Glick. It's a shame that she's bringing the "In His Photo" organization to the city, which is only trying to harm the shared life of Jews and Arabs in the country.
Hamas is running all of this!! Do you still not understand their way of working?? They are working everywhere in the world to create legitimacy for their actions. Everyone who participates in these demonstrations should be expelled and an investigation should be conducted into who is running the activists.
For now, they're probably winning because we're still sleeping on our stomachs and acting according to the rules of countries that don't understand what Islamic terrorism is.
Champion hahahaha
How can you not understand what they are protesting about? You have lived in the same country for decades, it's crazy that you have no idea
If everyone was like you, we wouldn't lose any war.
You forgot to mention that the Arab actress Mona Hawa was in prison for her statements.
At the last demonstration, Ofer Kassif, Ayman Odeh, another Arab Knesset member, and another known refusenik who spent about 200 days in detention for his refusal came.
What is the purpose of these in Haifa?
Is there no voice in Kaplan anymore?
Even in Europe, people have begun to wake up and realize that Islam is a dangerous sect that thirsts for blood, just like vampires.
In Europe, hundreds of thousands of anti-Semites also woke up with them, so what? Does the people of Israel forget? Brother Schilling forgets whether his example and role model for society and culture is a society that has not recovered from its internal hatred of others.
Until the residents of the country internalize this, first,
God knows what will happen here…
It's great that she's working for street dwellers. She understands less about protests, and it's better if she stays away from them.
You are welcome to immigrate from here to Germany, with your Austrian citizenship. There are also many Muslims there that you can socialize with (;
Well done to you. Be strong and courageous!!
Fifth Corps. Beit HaGefen became a hotbed for anti-Israel plays.
Rabin was right. break their arms and legs
But unfortunately he denied this statement.
Thank you, Mor Shael, for your help with the street vendors.
And about the demonstrations against the protesters against the State of Israel.
And thank you Michal Gruber for the important article.
Good for you
Where is the mayor? What is he allowing?
You are right, the discrimination that is installed in it has destroyed us Jews. Now the Jews need affirmative action.. It is difficult for our children to get into university and everything is easy for them and in addition they do not do national service and certainly not the army.
Shame on the policy of Ho
Moore, you are amazing, bold and a champion.
Every time you surprise me more and more.
Ungrateful, and on the other hand they have collaborators at the top of the government, they need to track down each one of them and throw them out to deny rights, the citizens don't understand that this is a war of extermination at home, and that they shouldn't expect the police to help at all if judges release them that day on the excuse that it was a prank, the judges themselves receive threats, and are afraid, so they are heroes to us, only a forceful expulsion of the Trojan Horse by the common people will succeed, anyone who trusts the law that was intended to abuse us will eat their heart out at a later age
The writer exaggerated and got carried away by her own imagination and hallucinations.
The rain and floods endanger the existence of the country much more than any protests.
