Dozens of women participated in a human chain of hands this morning (7/3/25) at the polluters' plaza on Dado Beach in Haifa and at the "Tsabar" intersection in Krayot. The "hand chains" took place simultaneously at various locations across the country at the initiative of "Building an Alternative" as a sign of solidarity to mark International Women's Day, which is celebrated around the world every year on March 8.

"This is the third year that Alternative Builders have been standing in a women's chain at dozens of locations across the country, to promote an equal reality for women (and actually men) in Israel," says Noa Shek, leader of Alternative Builders in Haifa.
