Dozens of women participated in a human chain of hands this morning (7/3/25) at the polluters' plaza on Dado Beach in Haifa and at the "Tsabar" intersection in Krayot. The "hand chains" took place simultaneously at various locations across the country at the initiative of "Building an Alternative" as a sign of solidarity to mark International Women's Day, which is celebrated around the world every year on March 8.

Promoting an egalitarian reality
"This is the third year that Alternative Builders have been standing in a women's chain at dozens of locations across the country, to promote an equal reality for women (and actually men) in Israel," says Noa Shek, leader of Alternative Builders in Haifa. "We are here in solidarity to return our brothers kidnapped in Gaza - as we have been doing for nearly 17 months, since they were kidnapped. We invite Haifa women of all ages to join us and protect women's rights and human rights."

"All year long and today especially, we are there for each other. We are there for the state, we are there until the last abductee is returned, we are there for a better future. The future of the State of Israel will be shaped by the Israeli woman, and we are fighting for it together," said "Building an Alternative."

"Building an Alternative," now in its fifth year of activity, was founded by Moran Zer Katzenstein, a strategic consultant and social activist, as a non-partisan activist pressure group of women from all parts of Israeli society and from all shades of the political map.

Thousands of women across the country work voluntarily and determinedly to promote social equality, empower women, and create an equal and safe reality for them.

Showing hypocrisy, no need to add more
Once upon a time, the day really belonged to women and mothers.
Today, even if we don't admit it, it has also become left and right, and it's a shame that some women are complicit in this.
Shame on all left-wing organizations.
The Land of Israel will always be the land of the Hebrew people.
An extreme left-wing organization in a variety of costumes
The color red is the communism of the anti-Zionist Hadash that operates the New Fund associations, which share subversive activity against the State of Israel, its institutions and its identity.
The words alternative, alternative, other, the majority – are code words for the activities of these associations in a variety of costumes for Purim.
Let's turn down the volume, Ale.
A liberal organization that works for an equal reality for everyone, women and men.
Again, a marketing writer in disguise.
You didn't even do proper research before posting the article. This is an organization that opposes gender equality.
And the lie is "apolitical" when the funding and operation is the new foundation of the extreme left.
Building an alternative is exactly that: an organization that works for gender equality in all aspects (even if you throw out unfounded statements).
