(haipo) – A drug lab was uncovered in an apartment in Krayot – all rooms in the house were used for the purpose of growing drugs suspected of being marijuana.
The police told Lai Pa:
Approximately 120 kilograms of drugs suspected to be marijuana in hundreds of seedlings were discovered by Coastal District police officers from the Zevulun station in a residential apartment in Kiryat Ata. The apartment was suspected of being used as a drug laboratory. A 37-year-old suspect in its operation was arrested for questioning at the police station.
Police officers from the Zebulun Station in the Coast District conducted proactive and targeted activity against drug trafficking offenses, in which they uncovered a drug laboratory containing hundreds of seedlings weighing a total of over 120 kilograms, suspected of being marijuana that was grown under laboratory conditions with the help of advanced equipment inside an "innocent" residential apartment in the Krayot.
The police arrested for questioning a suspect in the operation of the laboratory, a 37-year-old resident of Acre, who was imprisoned at the end of the investigation.
According to the needs of the investigation and its findings, the police will ask to extend his detention in court.
All findings and equipment were transferred to the Israel Police's forensic laboratories for evidence extraction.
