(haipo) – A Haifa resident and a resident of Usfiya were arrested on suspicion of committing several robberies in Haifa.
The police told Lai Pa:
Over the weekend (1/3/25), Coastal District Police forces from the Haifa station made a quick arrest in two serious criminal incidents, involving two suspects for robbery and assault offenses in the city.
The first incident – a robbery at a gas station
During a night shift, a report was received at the 100 hotline about a robbery at the "Yelo" gas station in Haifa. Patrol teams from the Haifa station quickly arrived at the scene, sealed off the scene and collected initial findings. At the same time, extensive searches were conducted at the Heroes' Bridge, where the suspect, a 42-year-old Haifa resident, was caught while trying to escape.
During a search of the suspect, evidence was seized linking him to the robbery, as well as to another criminal incident that occurred earlier, as well as a sum of money amounting to thousands of shekels.
Another incident – assault on a woman and theft of a bag
In another incident that occurred in the city, after receiving a report about a suspect who attacked a woman resident of Taiba, stole her bag and fled. A police officer from the Tirat Carmel station who was not on duty, recognized the incident, acted quickly, took control of the suspect and neutralized him until police forces arrived.
The two suspects, a 2-year-old Haifa resident and a 42-year-old Asafia resident, were arrested for questioning at the Haifa police station, and were subsequently imprisoned. The court granted the police request and extended their detention until 47/5/3.
The courts will immediately release and demand that the police officers be prosecuted for harming the welfare of the robbers.
That's why we ended up in the current criminal jungle.
The current legal system is a violation of Israel's personal and national security.
