(Hai Fa) – In a police raid on a private home in Tirat Carmel, over 15 kilograms of cannabis and crystal meth were discovered, which were suspected to be intended for trafficking and distribution on the streets. A 34-year-old suspect, a resident of Tirat Carmel, was arrested for questioning, at the end of which he was imprisoned.

As part of an operation in Tirat Carmel, the police conducted a police raid on a private home in the city, where they uncovered approximately 15 kilograms of a substance suspected of being a cannabis drug and approximately 400 grams of a substance suspected of being a crystal drug, with the drugs suspected of being intended for distribution. In addition, thousands of shekels in cash suspected of being proceeds from criminal activity were seized.

The suspect, a 34-year-old resident of Tirat Carmel, was arrested for questioning, at the end of which he was imprisoned.
Depending on the needs of the investigation and its findings, the police will request an extension of his detention in court.
The drugs were seized and transferred to continue the extraction of evidence investigation in the forensic laboratories of the Israel Police.

Another waste of public money. 50 years of war on drugs and the problem is only getting bigger. When will we realize this is a mistake?
