Seven-month-old Eden needs your help ▪︎ Eden's uncle, Shahar, a Haifa artist, joined the family fight
(live here) – Shahar, an artist from Haifa, is doing everything he can to help fight for the life of his seven-month-old nephew, Eden, in the crisis his family is in. Little Eden has been diagnosed with a rare cancer.
Eden, a twin to his sister Gigi, lives with his family in New York. His uncle Shahar, a highly regarded artist from Haifa, has stepped in to help and is now raising funds for the cause, through the sale of his works at affordable prices, and through crowdfunding. All to help his little nephew and his family.

Little hero
Eden began to feel unwell, the nights were accompanied by a lot of crying and difficulty sleeping. At first he was diagnosed with pneumonia, but further tests led to the discovery of a tumor the size of a golf ball in the brain stem. He underwent surgery which was successful, but it was not enough, as he was then diagnosed with a rare cancer – ATRT, and the great family challenge was only beginning.

The hard battle has begun.
Eden's parents, Rotem and Laura, live in New York, where little Eden receives medical treatment from the world's leading medical institution. However, medical knowledge about ATRT cancer is very limited, and the family is dealing not only with the difficult chemotherapy, but also with the uncertainty of every step along the way.
Shahar, the father Rotem's brother, accompanies his family from a distance, and talks about the passing days, the ongoing treatments, and the never-ending pain and worries. Along with the support of their families, Eden's parents try to maintain a routine in order to best cope with the situation.
Family and community support
Despite the geographical distance, the families do not leave Eden and his parents alone in their struggle. The grandparents fly back and forth to help, support, and care for Gigi, the little niece, while parents Rotem and Laura are busy with Eden's medical care. Everyone contributes their part to help and support the family.
Rotem and Laura's close friends are helping with fundraising campaigns for Aden's treatments.
Fundraising performances, such as the recent jazz show, a crowdfunding campaign launched by friends, and other creative ways in which friends and family are working.

The challenge of connecting the personal world to the professional world
Shahar describes the difficulty of connecting the professional world with his personal world and says: "I never imagined myself in such a situation, none of us did, and yet, this is the time to ask for help."
Recruitment and awareness activities
Shahar is currently organizing a farewell event from the studio that has been his creative home for the past five years, an event that was planned as a farewell and renewal event, but in light of the situation, it took a difficult turn and is now dedicating it to the fight for his nephew's life, and invites you to come, enjoy, look at the works and perhaps even purchase some of them.
