(haipo) – A network of drug laboratories was uncovered by Coastal District police at the Zevulun Station – Over 550 seedlings weighing approximately 160 kilograms of cannabis were seized in Kiryat Bialik and Kiryat Ata, suspected of being distributed.
The police told Lai Pa:
3 suspects, residents of Kiryat Bialik and Kiryat Ata in their 20s, were arrested for questioning, at the end of which they were imprisoned.
The raid by Coastal District police at the Zebulon station led to the discovery of three hydro labs for growing cannabis in Kiryat Bialik and Kiryat Ata, with a total weight of over 160 kg.
During an operation by detectives from the Zevulun police station in Kiryat Bialik, activity was detected in the apartment, and when the main suspect entered the apartment, the forces prepared for an arrest - and a search inside the apartment revealed a laboratory containing approximately 230 seedlings of a substance suspected of being cannabis, weighing approximately 74 kg.
In another raid on a second apartment in Kiryat Bialik, approximately 230 seedlings weighing approximately 35 kg of a substance suspected to be cannabis were seized.
In a third apartment in Kiryat Ata, another hydro lab was discovered containing approximately 90 seedlings weighing over 50 kg of a substance suspected to be cannabis.
As mentioned, the police arrested 3 suspects in the operation of the laboratories, residents of Kiryat Bialik and Kiryat Ata in their 20s, for questioning at the Zevulun police station, after which they were imprisoned.
In accordance with the needs of the investigation and its findings, the court granted the police request and extended their detention until 24/2/25.
All of the findings were transferred to the forensics laboratories of the Israel Police for evidence extraction.
