For the second time in two weeks – a truck driver was caught pouring concrete across the city.
Last Friday, 14/2/25, a truck was located in the morning with concrete spilled from it along the Freud Highway in Haifa.
Following the report, the municipality's enforcement teams, with the assistance of the Security Division, Traffic Management Division, and the Shefa Division, went on a comprehensive search of the main and nearby roads in the area. At the end of the search, enforcement department inspectors were able to locate the concrete mixer truck, which turned out to have left the Readymix concrete plant in Tirat Carmel on its way to a construction site at the Technion. Later in the day, another truck from the company was spotted, which was on its way to a construction site in Neve Sha'anan, from which concrete was also leaking during the trip.
Following the incident, the Haifa Municipality decided to act decisively to eradicate the phenomenon, while taking all legal measures at its disposal. As a reminder, just two weeks ago, another concrete truck was caught driving near the Pika Road, leaving behind a concrete trail that hardened and created a danger to traffic. Following the incident, the municipality acted quickly with all relevant parties – the concrete plant, the truck driver, and the construction site – and demanded that the concrete plant send out a cleaning crew to remove the spilled material. At the same time, heavy fines were issued to all those involved, and the concrete plant manager was even summoned to a hearing at the municipality and warned against taking further steps.
Drive on Highway 444 near the quarry areas and concrete factories. Shoham and Nachshonim. . The entire road in the area includes intersections filled with concrete pouring. . The Israel Roads Company is sleeping. It's time for you to wake up and hold your friend accountable. The concrete in the road repairs in the area is more expensive than India. Until an accident happens there. A road that is a traffic hazard. Are you the Ministry of Transportation? Wake up quickly.
Define 'heavy fine'. Indeed, the stories of criminals who were caught stealing, speeding, committing injustice and stealing from the elderly are difficult stories, but it is interesting and important to know what punishments they received. Because arresting criminals/murderers/thieves and other good souls will not help if you let them return to crime, theft and murder in two days.
Who can I contact if there is private construction and the truck continues to pour concrete in the yard between the buildings, which is a public area? Empty the truck.
Claiming that it "flattens the surface" so that we won't have mud?
Well done to the Haifa Municipality and the inspectors involved in this dangerous and dark issue.
A real danger to any motorcycle or scooter rider is that the hardened concrete on the road can cause them to slide towards a moving car or go off the road. Even a small jump can cause the driver to lose control.
Car drivers also sometimes want to avoid an obstacle that could hit a motorcyclist or car.
By the way, I don't ride a motorcycle.
Congratulations, the municipality woke up! All the streets in the Carmel neighborhoods where TAMA construction is taking place have solid concrete.
I was already warned about this two months ago that there is poured concrete all over the city on the main roads in Haifa and the municipality is finally taking action on the issue, thank you very much.
Finally, the civilian attacks in Ella are being addressed. Many thanks!
When the entire country works using overlapping and haphazard methods, without enforcement and supervision on any issue, with kickbacks and bribes and turning a blind eye, then there is a whole chain of failures.
I'm sure that if they had inspected the concrete, they would have seen that it did not meet the required standard. If they had inspected the truck driver, they would have discovered that he had traffic violations that in a normal country would have already resulted in his license to drive being revoked. If they had inspected the factory, they would have discovered dozens of dangerous safety failures.
And if they checked who was responsible for proper inspections of the trucks, they would discover that there is no one. And the workers at the construction site to which the truck traveled work without professional training to work in construction.
This is the country we live in.

Think about it, it's not the first time, nor is it the 200th, it's just that now they've entered the municipality's intentions because there's a lot of money there (report).
The factory wants to load as much as possible, even though it knows it's unusual, but it prefers one less truck in transport to the ordering site, so... ahaha, nonsense.
Successful method.
There must be enforcement and punishment against the driver and also against the company, which is supposed to maintain the trucks:
The cost of cleaning and repairs + a high fine + probation (so that it doesn't happen again).
I think the car should be impounded for 30 days.
And the driver must be fined.
For the sake of being seen and seen.
