In the heart of the city of Kiryat Haim, in a green environment, on Thursday, 13/2/25, the municipality established the "Tree of Life" garden in memory of the October Seven murdered and the fallen of the Iron Swords War, the sons and daughters of the city of Kiryat Yam.

In a moving ceremony with the bereaved families, 13 olive trees are planted, representing the number of those who fell. On the front of each tree is a memorial plaque with the story of each of the fallen.

The mayor, David Ibn Tzur:
Not a single eye remained dry today. Alongside the immense pain that accompanies the families, the Kiryat Yam family embraces the families and walks with them on the journey of life. I would like to thank the dedicated municipal employees for their important moral commitment. May we know days of peace, may all the kidnapped return home, and may God protect all the IDF soldiers and security forces.
