(haipo) – A car accident occurred a short time ago (Sunday 09/02/24 at 16:30) on President Boulevard in Haifa, near the "Tibi" cafe. A female driver crashed into a pole. Following the accident, heavy traffic is being reported in the area, and drivers are being asked to choose alternative routes.

Two weeks ago, a vehicle ran over and killed a pedestrian at this crosswalk.
In this traffic circle, there are about 2-3 accidents a day, ranging from scratches, to vehicles overturning, to fatal runovers.
They refuse to put bumpers on vehicles that speed towards it from both sides of President Boulevard, claiming that it is a main road and they don't put bumpers on it.
We must slow down traffic for vehicles traveling from both directions on President Boulevard and make them slow down toward the traffic circle. Or replace it with a signalized intersection.
Did the driver skid? Maybe her car skidded...??
The leadership slipped on the intellect.
