The municipality excels at reaching into residents' pockets and collecting more fines, levies, and fees.
But to cut their own inflated salaries and allowances and cancel millions of shekels in additional gifts for municipal employees – oh, they don't touch that.
A corrupt municipality from A to Z. 400 senior officials with a salary of 40 a month, more than all the other cities in the metropolis combined. They didn't cut themselves a single shekel, but they steal another 300 shekels from every family in security fees every year?! Money grows on trees and they didn't tell us?!
10 million shekels for the stupid lights project at Haifa Port, maybe this money will be taken.

How disconnected this council is. The 65th National Assembly debate does not skip Haifa. It develops Haifa as a huge metropolis in the heart of the Gulf and will beg for Haifa instead of being beggars for real with 7 crumbling blocks disconnected from anywhere possible. Bat Galim does not serve Rambam, Hof Carmel does not serve anything, Haifa Center of the Eight is not accessible to Kiryat HaMalima. And the Carmelites still rely on Paris Square. Check Post is the beating heart of Haifa-Bay of Innovation-Evacuation of the ZEN and there the high-speed Sderva train to Tel Aviv will be built in 24 minutes with a metropolitan connection to all the arteries of Haifa, it will take just a few minutes, just like in Gush Dan. A high-speed train will bring Haifa full of strong Gush Dan residents who just want to get out of the bubble. The Sderva train will open up medicine, education and the economy. Enough thinking small, enough being so disconnected.
To say that the Bat Galim train doesn't serve Rambam? It serves Rambam, Bat Galim, Kiryat Eliezer and Kiryat Eliyahu, the Navy, the port workers, the medical students at the Technion and tourists on medical tourism, the users of the beaches.
I am in favor of tunneling the train to the central bay with the Hof HaCarmel station, which serves more residents than all the other stations in the north, and only if there is an additional intermediate station at the bottom of Wadi HaGiborim to serve the Carmel neighborhoods.
But a branch from the heart of the bay to Bat Galim will remain essential. The train station in Bat Galim serves more passengers than Acre. You are the ones who are disconnected if you don't know the data.
Important presidents were present at the Haifa City Council meeting
Yes, I don't want to pay a security fee. What is this nonsense and why don't they do anything anyway? There is a police force and an army. We don't need them. They are completely unnecessary.
