A 23-year-old Haifa resident was arrested and imprisoned

In an operational activity carried out by Haifa police officers from the Carmel area in the Hof district against crime targets and the prevention of offenses and the seizure of illegal weapons that fall into the hands of criminal elements, the police conducted a raid and uncovered a stun grenade that was suspected to be intended for criminal use. In addition, hundreds of grams of substances suspected to be hashish and marijuana were uncovered.
As stated, the suspect, a 23-year-old Haifa resident, was arrested for questioning at the Haifa police station, at the conclusion of which he was imprisoned. In accordance with the needs of the investigation and its findings, the police will request an extension of his detention in the Haifa court. The weapons and all items were seized and transferred for further investigation of evidence at the Israel Police forensic laboratories.
