Do you recognize "Remy"?
Today (Thursday, 23/1/25) at noon, a resident arrived at the Haifa Municipality Veterinary Service Clinic with a green-cheeked conure parrot in his hands. While handing the parrot to the clinic staff, he said that he found the parrot in the Neve-Shanan neighborhood and believed that the parrot might be injured.

After examining the parrot's condition, Rami Katz, the veterinary inspector who took it into his care, began to care for it - he fed it cereal and a fresh apple and even put games in the cage to entertain it. Until the parrot's owner could be located, the municipal veterinarian, Dr. Adam Becker, decided to give it a temporary name - "Rami", in honor of the veterinary inspector, who cared for it with great devotion.

The Green-cheeked Conure is a small, sociable parrot that is popular as a pet due to its intelligent, curious nature and love of touch and companionship. It is named for its striking green color, along with other shades of yellow, blue, and red. The Green-cheeked Conure is capable of mimicking sounds, but is not considered a "talker."
Dr. Adam Becker, the municipal veterinarian of the Haifa Municipality: "This is an especially sweet puppy. As soon as he arrived, we all fell in love with him. We hope that his owner will be found soon and that he will return home soon."
The parrot's owner is invited to contact the municipal hotline. Haifa Municipality at 106.
Due to the fact that there is a ring with an identification number on the parrot's leg, the parrot will only be given to someone who can provide the number stamped on it.
This parrot was lost to a resident of Neve Sha'anan who posted signs that he had lost it and he is very sad. If I am around and see the sign, I will call him.
In connection with the new parking orders and traffic pressure in Haifa —
Maybe the mayor will be kind enough to save us from the garbage collection trucks between 07.00:09.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX.
Everyone knows that rush hour is the busiest time of day for citizens commuting to work and for parents taking their children to various settings. The presence of garbage trucks on the road, doing their job, causes unbearable traffic jams, especially on narrow streets where it is impossible to overtake, such as Hillel, Masada, etc. The garbage truck stops house after house. It simply doesn't make sense. This week at about 08.45:XNUMX a.m. I turned onto Hillel Street from Zionist Avenue. There was a garbage truck in front of me. And so we crawled, me and the other cars behind me.❗️.For a whole hour❗️until I reached the other end of Hillel, which borders Balfour.,
In my opinion, this is a complete scandal. Lack of consideration for the city's citizens, their time and needs❗️ The city's garbage collection is supposed to be carried out in the very late evening hours or until 07.00:1948 at the latest. I have been a resident of the city since XNUMX and I am sorry to say that the problem has existed since then. It seems to me that the time for redemption has come and there is no need to wait for the Messiah. What is needed is a listening ear, goodwill and proper organization of the cleaning system.
With hope and thanks for your attention

Well done to the citizen and the veterinarian.
