Clalit trains Atlit residents to save lives
The CPR and Safety Workshop held at Clalit Neve Atlit Clinic, Haifa and Western Galilee District, provided Clalit customers with essential tools for saving lives in emergency situations. The workshop was conducted by Ilana Dubinsky, a senior instructor from Magen David Adom, and focused on advanced CPR techniques for both adults and children.
"Quick and correct action in the first few minutes is the difference between life and death," explains Dr. Uri Nitzan, director of the Neve Atlit General Clinic, who initiated the workshop together with administrative director Dorit Susi. "We see the utmost importance in making life-saving knowledge accessible to the community."

During the workshop, participants experienced hands-on simulations with advanced equipment, including practice using a defibrillator and ventilator. Special emphasis was placed on the unique techniques required in resuscitating children and infants, while taking into account their unique physiological characteristics.
"The knowledge we acquired is significant and vital," said one participant at the end of the workshop, "I feel much more confident in my ability to respond correctly in an emergency." Participants praised the high professional level of the training and the importance of making knowledge accessible to the general public.

The CPR workshop is part of the comprehensive workshop program that Clalit offers to its policyholders, with the aim of empowering the community with essential medical knowledge. In light of its success, additional workshops are planned in the area in the near future.
The workshops are at a subsidized price for general customers and are delivered in small groups, allowing for personal attention and answers to all questions.
