In real news
Three new docks for unloading general cargo (cargo that arrives in dedicated ships and not in containers, mainly raw materials for industry and the construction industry) have been opened at the Port of Haifa. Two of the docks are located in the Kishon West complex and the third in Kishon East. This is in conjunction with the progress of dock rehabilitation work carried out in full cooperation with the Israel Ports Company, and the completion of the procurement of cranes for these docks. This is significant news for the Port of Haifa and the general cargo unloading market in Israel.

New offshore cranes
The docks in Kishon West will be operated by five new coastal cranes manufactured by the German company Kocks Ardelt. These cranes, equipped with a double-jib, are designed to handle cargo weighing up to 50 tons and have a maximum working radius of 34 meters. These cranes are state-of-the-art on a world-class level.

The only one of its kind in Israel
The third platform is located in the Kishon Mizrahi complex and its operation will be completed during January, with the entry into service of a modern hydraulic crane, the only one of its kind in Israel, manufactured by SENNEBOGEN. This crane is designed to handle heavy loads, including bulk, and specializes in loading scrap iron. The crane includes an integrated operating system that allows operation on the electrical grid or via a generator.
