(Hai Pa) – Nesher police officers seized drugs in a residential apartment in Haifa: over a kilogram of marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms
In a proactive operation conducted by police officers from the Nesher Station in the Carmel area of the Hof District, suspected drugs were discovered in a residential apartment in Haifa. Among the items seized were hallucinogenic mushrooms and cannabis weighing a total of over 1 kilogram.

The officers were operating as part of the Israel Police's fight against drug offenses, with an emphasis on trafficking that poses a danger to public safety. During the search of the apartment, the officers discovered drugs in various forms, which were suspected to be intended for distribution.

A 27-year-old Haifa resident was arrested at the scene and brought for questioning at the Nesher police station. At the end of the questioning, the suspect was imprisoned, and the police intend to ask the Haifa court to extend his detention for the purpose of continuing the investigation.
The police told Hai Pa News Corporation: “We will continue the uncompromising fight against the drug scourge in order to maintain public safety.”
