In recent weeks, Dr. Fada Ghanem has taken on a new and exciting role: Deputy Director of the Nephrology Department at Carmel Medical Center. In her role, Dr. Ghanem will be responsible for promoting the department and working alongside the department director, Dr. Daniel Kushnir. "I believe that each patient is a whole world, and we are committed to providing our patients with the best and most professional care available," she says.

An impressive personal and professional trajectory
Dr. Ghanem completed her medical studies in 2010 at Hadassah in Jerusalem. She did her internship at Carmel, where she was awarded the title of Outstanding Intern. She later specialized in internal medicine and nephrology at Rambam Hospital.
After a year as a senior physician at Nahariya Hospital, Dr. Ghanem returned to Carmel in 2020 as a senior physician in the nephrology department. If she were not a doctor, she would have chosen to become a psychologist out of her love for personal connections with people.
Choosing Nephrology: A Profession That Connects the Heart and the Head
"Nephrology is a unique profession that combines the care of chronic patients, who accompany us over time, alongside dealing with a wide range of diseases and medical challenges," says Dr. Ghanem. "The profession requires extensive knowledge and thinking outside the box, and that is what makes it unique in my opinion."

The vision of the Nephrology Department at Carmel
Dr. Ghanem proudly notes that the nephrology department at Carmel Hospital is one of the few in Israel that operates both a large inpatient department and advanced units, such as a hemodialysis unit for acute patients, an abdominal dialysis clinic, and a nephrology clinic.
In addition, the department provides consulting services to community clinics throughout the north and supports many dialysis centers. "Our department in Carmel provides a unique, professional and humane response," concludes Dr. Ghanem. "I strive to continue to develop the services in the department, and ensure that our patients receive the best care, with a personal and warm touch."
Dr. Ghanem, 40, was born in the village of Marja in the Triangle area and currently lives in Haifa. She is married to Aref, a lawyer by profession, and the mother of three children: Salma, 12, Alia, 7.5, and Amin, XNUMX.
Congratulations, Fedaa, on your appointment and good luck moving forward.
I remember Dr. Kushnir at the beginning of his career in 2006 when he treated my late mother with great dedication, who was a patient in the nephrology department at Carmel Hospital. We already knew then that his path to success was paved.. Health to all
Well done, I hope many will follow her example and map for the social sector.
Why are people avoiding the hospital?!
Good luck, congratulations to you.
A professional and pleasant doctor, she fulfills her role with great professionalism. We, the Amsalem family, are indeed blessed.
Good luck, hats off.
Nephrologists can't really cure the disease, there is no breakthrough in the country
In the dark, not the dark
Sorry
Let's hope this is the hospital's dark light.
In the assessment to which a public response must also be given
Like Rambam and Hallel Yaffe
That is, a house of prayer for those who are suitable for it.
As far as I know, it seems to me that this hospital is obligated to do so.
By court order.
This is what I heard from my friend Hillel Khalil, who was once there at work, an outstanding employee!!!!!
Well done Dr. Fida.. both an outstanding mother and doctor.. we need more women like you. Definitely an inspiration to the next generation.
Good luck..it says how much power. And women have strength..it's not for nothing that they called the people a nation. Mother...
