(Hai Pa) – Today (Sunday, 19/01/25) at 12:26, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about a worker who was electrocuted while working on S.Y. Agnon Street in Haifa. MDA medics and paramedics arrived at the scene and began performing advanced CPR on the 60-year-old man, while providing intensive medical treatment at the scene.
The worker, who was electrocuted while working on S.Y. Agnon Street in Haifa, was taken to Rambam Hospital while undergoing resuscitation efforts.
The paramedics provided the injured man with treatment that included massages, CPR, and medication. The man was later taken by ambulance to Rambam Hospital in Haifa in critical condition.
Hanan Zohar, an MDA paramedic and director of the Haifa station, said:
"When we arrived at the scene, we saw the worker lying unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with signs of electric shock on his body. We were told that he had probably been electrocuted while working. We immediately began performing advanced CPR, and during these operations we evacuated him to the hospital, where his condition was described as critical."
