The police told Hai Pa News Corporation:

The Israel Police have banned a fan from soccer fields for 60 days who lit pyrotechnic devices during the soccer game between Hapoel Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv held at the Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa last night.

As part of the Coastal District police preparation for the soccer game between Hapoel Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv, the police noticed a flare being lit. The police monitored the security cameras in real time and the suspect and detained him for questioning.

The suspect, a 21-year-old resident of Holon, was detained for questioning and, at the end, was immediately banned from soccer fields for 60 days.

The Israel Police takes a serious view of those who violate public order during sporting events and will continue to act to prevent these incidents and bring those involved to justice.
