From the National Vision Division: A student from the "Reut Arts" School won the KKL-JNF's 77th year emblem design competition
The design by Ayala Master, a ninth-grade student at the "Reut Arts" middle school in Haifa, was chosen to be the symbol of the JNF for the 77th year. The chosen symbol represents a combination of values of Zionism, sustainability, and creativity.
Last week (5-10/1/25) the KKL-JNF emblem design competition for the 77th year of independence of the State of Israel ended. The competition focused on the connection between universal values, nature and sustainability, and Jewish-Israeli heritage.
Out of hundreds of participants from all over the country, first place went to Ayala Master, an art student at the "Reut Arts" middle school. Ayala's work was supervised by the art teacher, Lemi Daniel.

A deep and creative visual message
The symbol designed by Ayala incorporates a deep and creative visual message, and it will be used by the JNF at events and celebrations of the 77th anniversary of the state. As part of the process, Ayala, along with her classmates, learned about the history and heritage of the JNF, along with using professional graphic design tools. The process facilitator, Lemi Daniel, said that the students were inspired by the JNF's heritage and were able to translate important values into impressive artistic works.
Ilana Truk, Head of the Education, Society and Leisure Administration:
Warm congratulations to Ayala and the Reut Arts team for this impressive achievement, which highlights the creativity and values of Haifa students. Their success is a source of pride for the city and the entire education system.
The selection committee found that Ayala's work stood out due to its high-quality execution and ability to convey an idea through inspiring visual art. Winning the competition earned Ayala and her classmates a special two-night educational trip sponsored by the JNF.
Ofir Shadmi, CEO of "Reut for the Arts":
Reut School of the Arts directs and encourages its students and teachers to multidimensional learning processes that combine art studies, along with history and Zionism, nature and sustainability. The participation of students in the Arts major in a KKL-JNF project is a wonderful example of the creativity and excellence that lead our students.
Stunning, well done Ayla.
