MDA reported to Hai Fa - the news corporation:
At 00:51, a report was received at the MDA 101 hotline in the Carmel area about workers who were hit by a vehicle during work on Highway 22 near the Ata North Interchange. MDA medics and paramedics are providing medical treatment and are referring 2 injured people to Rambam Hospital, including: a man aged 40 in serious condition, sedated and on a ventilator with multi-systemic injuries, and a man aged 35 in moderate condition with injuries to his limbs.

Senior MDA medic Shlomo Ozeri and MDA paramedic Ahmed Khatib said:
"We saw 2 workers who were hit by a vehicle during road work, one of whom was unconscious and suffered serious injuries to his body. We provided them with life-saving medical treatment that included stopping bleeding and anesthesia and ventilation, and evacuated them in an MDA intensive care ambulance to the hospital in serious and moderate condition."
Two more people whose lives were ruined because of the rampage on the roads. Zero enforcement. Zero deterrence.
Don't be surprised.
We are all in this bloody roulette every day.
No need to drive fast. Drive carefully. Thanks to MDA.
Drivers drive at crazy speeds
No reference to signs and warnings
And for road workers. Only the presence of police vehicles
They might be able to get these drivers off the roads.
Complete healing for the injured.
When doing road work, or landscaping work on traffic islands, or anything else that disrupts traffic and endangers people, there must be a police presence. Not the kind who sit on the sidelines with a coffee and a cigarette. They should actually do their job, which is to maintain order. If there was such a presence there, people wouldn't be hurt. A country that is not managed but rather is run.
Poor people. May they be healthy.
