At the beginning of the week (Sunday, 12/1/2025), the former 22nd Chief of Staff of the State of Israel, Major General Aviv Kochavi, paid a special visit to the "Degania" school in Kiryat Haim. Kochavi, 60, came to lecture to the school's education team, as he currently serves in his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Branco Weiss" Institute.
Former Chief of Staff Kochavi was invited as part of the school's leadership education program. During his lecture, Kochavi presented military principles of leadership and process management, which are parallel to the world of education. According to him, education is a central tool for cultivating people with values, who are capable and capable of self-fulfillment.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that at the end of the lecture, an in-depth discussion took place between Kochavi and the school's educational team, which emphasized the connection between the principles presented and the children's education, prosperity, and fulfillment.
