Protest performance at the Ministry of Justice in Haifa: "Control Games"

(Hai Fe) - Earlier today (Monday, 13.01.25) at 11:00, activists of the "Change Direction" movement blocked the entrance to the Ministry of Justice in Haifa, as part of a national day of protest against what they call the "legal coup".

During the protest, the activists performed a performance in which a figure simulating the Minister of Justice, Yariv Levin, whips the symbol of democracy - the goddess of justice, while waving a banner with the inscription: "Levin, stop with your control games!".

From the given direction:
"We demand that the government immediately stop the attempts to take over the judicial system. We call on the general public to join the demonstration that will take place this evening at 19:00 in front of Levin's house."

The protest in Haifa is part of a broad wave of demonstrations throughout the country aimed at exerting public pressure and stopping the legislative initiatives concerning the judicial system.

  1. The wise men who brought support for the representative probably live on another planet or are simply in favor of letting the legal system rule on the release of terrorists contrary to the people's position. Otherwise, I have no explanation.

  2. A stupid performance by people who don't understand that Levin is fighting for democracy and the separation of powers against the legal dictatorship.
Beyond that, it is strange and disturbing that a group of 4-5 connected activists can introduce items into the local media.
Based on the bizarre activity of a sign and some costumes. I wonder if 4-5 activists on another issue are demonstrating with a sign
Would they also receive similar coverage?

  3. Changing direction. Shame on you! Why are you coming out on Levin? He doesn't do things by force. It's a fact that many of the people are angry. That we don't do anything in the legal system. For your information, it's not just the right that wants change. Since Aharon Barak's power has been in control, and since the system has been operating according to Aharon Barak's formula. Many of us, the people, are not satisfied with the behavior of the entire legal system. They are making unequal decisions. They are backing the legal advisor. And together, we are working against all the laws that members of Knesset have passed, worked on these laws, and finally repealed.
All the signs want to prove that they are the ones who decide, not the government. That's why most of us want state investigations. Because it's clear to us what their decision-making body will be and who is to blame. We haven't found justice for a long time, they've had the High Court cancel all demolitions of terrorist buildings. They care more about the conditions of the terrorists. The High Court is against our soldiers. That's why it's clear to me who encouraged you, the left. More proof was revealed today about President Yitzhak Amit, how he acted so that his name wouldn't appear, but used another name. A terrible thing. What kind of a fool can continue to judge when he himself acted dishonestly. The truth is, I'm shocked.
