(haipo) - A 15-year-old boy was rescued from a sandpit near the Sdot Yam beach, after the sand collapsed on him during some kind of training. The medical teams provided initial treatment at the scene, and he was taken to the hospital in moderate condition.

The medical teams of the Rescue Union provided first aid to a boy who was rescued from a pit near Sdot Yam beach.
Didi Rabinowitz, a medic from the Rescue Union, said: "According to his friends, he went into a hole he dug as part of training and the sand collapsed on him and buried him. I gave him first aid at the scene and after he was rescued from the hole by the fire crews, he was taken to Hillel Yaffe Hospital suffering from bruises and injuries to his limbs." .

A senior medic at the MDA, Matanal Yuval, said:

"We received a report at MDA's 101 center about a boy whose lower body was trapped in a sand pit in an open area. Due to difficult road conditions, we reached the boy with the help of a 4×4 vehicle, and when we arrived we saw the boy trapped in the pit while he was conscious, the firefighters performed complex rescue operations during which we performed medical tests and after he was rescued we transferred him to the MDA intensive care vehicle and evacuated him to the hospital in moderate condition. "

Israel Fire and Rescue Delivered here: Fire crews and the special rescue unit of the Hadera station with the assistance of MDA, police, Caesarea security and a tractor that was present at the scene operated a short time ago in rescuing a boy from a sand collapse.

The fire and rescue teams of the special rescue unit under the command of Rabbi Reshef Magdi Tiara arrived at the scene and identified a boy who was stuck in a sand collapse. The teams immediately began securing the captive and after assessing the situation, began advanced rescue operations with the help of an excavator that was present at the scene. Thanks to the quick and efficient work of the rescuers, the boy was quickly rescued and taken to the hospital in moderate condition.
