MDA informed Lahi Pa: At 08:52 a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the Carmel region about a fire in a 4-story residential building on Bikhurim Street in Kiryat Ata. MDA medics and paramedics are providing medical treatment to 2 injured people in serious condition.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer to Rambam Hospital a 75-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman in serious and unstable condition, with signs of smoke inhalation and burns, while they are sedated and ventilated.
A senior medic at the MDA Yishai Levy said: "We were rescued from a burning building on the fourth floor, 2 unconscious wounded, suffering from severe burns on their bodies and signs of smoke inhalation. We immediately put them in the intensive care unit, gave them life-saving medical treatment in the field and quickly evacuated them to the hospital while they were sedated and ventilated in a difficult and unstable condition."

Zion Dahan, Chaim Avni, and Hichiel Portal, Ihud Hatzla medics said: "It is a man and a woman who were rescued by fire crews from their smoke-filled apartment in serious condition due to smoke inhalation. We gave them initial medical assistance at the scene and then they were taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa."
