On Sunday, January 5th, the ILAN sports scholarship awarding ceremony was held, in an impressive and important event held at the ILAN Sports Center in Haifa. This is a ceremony that honors Israeli athletes of the Paralympic type, alongside the usual athletes and convalescents. The event comes to honor the excellence of athletes with disabilities, while awarding prizes and scholarships that allow them to continue and develop in the field of sports. The name of ILAN Haifa is a sign of success and excellence in the world of Paralympic sports, and at this year's ceremony many achievements of athletes from the sports center were presented.

The honorable participation and the importance of the event
The ceremony attracted about 130 people, including representatives from the country's leadership, professionals, athletes, coaches and their families. Among others, the coordination representatives of the Sports Association for the Disabled, the CEO of Nissim Sports Dr. Roni Bolotin, the Deputy Mayor of Haifa Yossi Shalom, representatives of the Daskel Foundation, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shlomo Sports Company Momo Cohen, Vicki Somech, the directors of Spivak, were present at the ceremony. Chairman of ILAN's Executive Committee, Prof. Alon Domanis and Executive Director Orit Ayalon Friedman.

At this important event, 52 awards and scholarships were awarded to athletes who provided impressive performances this year. These athletes have repeatedly demonstrated their special abilities and determination to succeed in competitive sports, despite their personal limitations. These are athletes from various fields such as archery, table tennis, bocha, swimming, basketball, rugby, and more, all of whom represented Israel with honor in the world of Paralympic sports.
