The Israel Police is preparing for the soccer match between Maccabi Haifa and Beitr Jerusalem at the Sami Ofer Stadium • Monday 06/01/25

As part of the preparations for the event, hundreds of police officers, bouncers and security guards will be deployed in the stadium area Starting in the afternoon, in order to maintain public order, ensure public safety, and direct traffic.

Movement preparation and an increased security system
Haifa police officers from the Coastal District will operate in security circles around the stadium and direct traffic in the area to reduce the expected traffic congestion, due to the game as well as the "Jambo Baby Hanukkah" event taking place in the nearby congress center. The police recommend that the fans arrive early to the game and avoid stress during the security checks.

Instructions for the fans and drivers
The opening of the stadium gates will begin at 18:00.

2. Peres Square - entrance to Ezer Weizman Street will only be allowed for the security forces and residents with a parking ticket.
3. Kastra Street - limited access to residents and parking ticket holders only.
4. 11 Ha'Sporttaiim corner Rotenberg - beyond residents only.
5. The statue intersection - entry is limited to those with an appointment and residents of the area only.

Public transport and regulated parking lots
The police recommend using public transportation, which will operate in an increased array (line 1, subways). Regulated parking lots: Intel, Congresses, Tzvia and Yitzchak and Kastra.
