(Hai Fe) - Over the past weekend, Coast District police officers carried out an extensive enforcement activity in the cities of Haifa, Nesher, Tirat Carmel and in the villages of Dalit El Carmel and Asfia, combining ground forces and a police helicopter. The purpose of the operation: treatment of serious traffic offenses, drunk driving, excessive speed, and any offense that endangers road users.
Data causing concern and decisive action
The officers of the Tirat Carmel station arrested a 56-year-old driver who is a resident of the city, who was driving his car even though his driver's license expired over 20 years ago. His car was confiscated and he was detained for questioning.
During the operation, hundreds of vehicles and drivers were checked, drunkenness tests were performed, and over 150 reports were recorded for various traffic violations. In addition, about 14 vehicles were towed to the police stations, and 50 vehicles were taken off the road due to serious technical defects.

Combined action - overt and covert
The officers also operated undercover, focusing on road bullying, speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. Special emphasis is given to life-threatening offenses in the Haifa, Carmel Castle and Nesher areas.

Corporal Avishai Ezra, police officer at the Haifa station, stated: "This activity is designed to maintain the safety of road users and reduce the scope of road accidents. We call on the public to drive carefully, observe the traffic rules, and remember that the lives of drivers and road users depend on personal responsibility on the road."
It's not enough, they also took care of the crazy motorcyclists who come to Haifa on weekends from all over the Galilee, and drive here like crazy with explosions from the exhausts. It's time for them to take care of it, the center on Hanasi Boulevard and Lui Promenade.
Well done
Do everything for a week until they learn
