(haipo) - Right in the heart of the city of Haifa, on Herzl and Ibn Sina streets, illegal gambling houses operated. The places where the gambling houses operated were closed by police order for 30 days.

The police told Lai Pa:
The Commander of the Coast District, Chief Yehiel Bohdana, signed closure orders for two gambling houses in Haifa, where offenses of illegal games, lotteries and gambling were committed in violation of the law.
As part of the struggle of the Haifa police officers in the Carmel area, in the Hoof district, against the operation of illegal gambling houses, which are located in apartments or businesses that appear to be innocent places, the Haifa police officers worked to locate and expose such places.
As part of the activity, police officers from the Haifa station came to Herzl and Ibn Sina streets in Haifa, and in these places gambling houses were discovered that were operating in violation of the law.
Following the exposure of these places, an investigation was conducted by the Haifa police, during which the licensing officers in the Hoof district and the Haifa station operated to close the businesses. The Commander of the Coast District, Superintendent Yehiel Bohdana, signed an administrative closure order for the businesses for 30 days.
