The grant is intended for energy efficiency projects, storage facilities, increasing energy security and more. These projects will allow the residents of the city to consume electricity during emergency hours, and will save energy expenses for the municipality and the residents.

Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Eli Cohen:
The grant will help the municipality of Kiryat Bialik save on energy expenses and thus invest more in the well-being of the residents, produce non-polluting energy for the health of the city's residents, consume energy during emergency hours, and more. Together with Mayor Eli Dukorski, we will continue to act for the residents of Kiryat Bialik.
Sustainable Energy Division in the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure continues to expand the activity for the transition to sustainable energy in the local authorities and approved a grant in the amount of NIS 484,500 to the municipality of Kiryat Bialik. The support will be given for projects in the field of energy efficiency such as replacing old and wasteful air conditioning and lighting systems with efficient and economical systems and smart energy management systems.
In the field of renewable energy, grants were given for the installation of solar shades that will provide shade in sports fields and generate clean electricity, as well as for energy storage facilities to maintain the functional continuity of public buildings. Support will also be provided for innovative projects such as application centers that will assist and accompany residents and business owners in the local authorities in the process of installing solar systems on the roofs of buildings.
As a result of this grant, projects will be launched that will lead to significant energy savings, and to the addition of the installed capacity of renewable energy and storage facilities. These projects will allow the residents of the city to continue consuming energy even during emergency hours, while producing non-polluting energy for the benefit of their health. In addition, the projects will save energy expenses for the residents and for the municipality, so that the municipality can invest more in the well-being of the residents.
Mayor of Kiryat Bialik, Eli Dukorski:
The grant we received from the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure is a significant opportunity for further development of the energy sector in the city. With its help, we can promote innovative projects for the benefit of the residents, reduce energy expenses and strengthen energy security. I thank the Minister of Energy for the important cooperation and support.
When there is a mayor who knows how to work for the resident, this is the result.
Kiryat Bialik won a strong leadership.
What about Kiryat Shmona, Minister?
When you gave a certificate of appreciation to our mayor, did you ask the residents how they felt and how they were treated?
What about the disconnection?
The mayor who cares for the residents of his city, become another mayor in Kiriya who engages the residents of his city in property taxes, and parking rates for heavy vehicles.
Well done to you my dear friend Eli Ducoursy, mayor of Kiryat Bialik for the grant. Good and blessed morning to you Eli.
