(haipo) - An uproar arose in Haifa following an ad that was pasted on the entrance fence to the recruitment office in the city, and which stated that "it is imperative to oppose Zionism and the genocide in Gaza." The ad includes a photo of a 7-year-old Palestinian girl, Saba Muhammad al-Jouri, who was allegedly killed in Gaza during an IDF operation on 23/10/24.
The ad was signed by the "Palestine Rebellion" movement, which seeks to incite the attention of the Israeli public to what it defines as "the actions of the army in Gaza".
"unforgivable injury"
As they passed by the recruiting office, many expressed shock at the ad. "This is unacceptable," said one of the mothers who arrived to accompany her son. "Our soldiers are sacrificing their lives in Gaza to protect us, and here are hanging words accusing Israel of genocide. This is humiliation and disrespect."
The ads also caused an uproar on social networks and led many to post angry reactions. "How do you let this happen? It crosses every line of free speech," someone wrote. A preliminary examination shows that the ads were not only hung on the fence of the recruiting office, but were distributed in different centers in the Hadar neighborhood in Haifa. "It is impossible for this incitement to take place in our public space," said a city resident who saw the ad on his way to work.
Where is the line between freedom of expression and incitement?
Events of this type rekindle the debate around the limits of freedom of expression in Israel. While some see this as part of a legitimate democratic discourse, many believe that this is a direct incitement to harm the feelings of the public and IDF soldiers.
The political and social discussion that arose as a result of these ads, once again overwhelms the constant tension between opposing views, when the line between legitimate protest and incitement challenges the sensitive discourse in the public as it touches the exposed nerves in society, certainly in this complex period.
The police informed Lahi Fe: "The issue has not been brought to our attention so far."
The municipality informed Hai Fe: "The issue will be investigated and at the same time the municipality will work to remove the ads immediately".
Have you read the book "Alone in Berlin"? of the German writer Hans Pallada? Tells about the Nazi rule in Berlin during World War II. interesting Food for thought
So write and hang up. Who said there are no snakes in Haifa?
So after SOS was brought to the attention of the police - what was their reaction??!
Well done my friend Samar for the article. Good and blessed night to you.

Those who put up these ads are either leftists or Hamas supporters who are among us
