In an exciting ceremony, a therapeutic dog park named after the late Geva Shaliu school student, who was killed at the age of 10 in a fatal car accident, was inaugurated at the Mithir School in Kiryat Bialik. Geva and his aunt Einat Ben Dov, the late, were killed in a fatal accident about 8 months ago. A driver who was driving wildly collided with their vehicle and cut their lives short.
Geva was a 4th grade student at the time.
The municipal naming committee of Kiryat Bialik approved the request of the school and Geva's family to name the therapeutic dog park after the late Geva who loved animals very much.
After the lot was removed, a ceremony was held by the late Geva's classmates and not one eye was left dry. The ceremony was attended by members of Geva's family, Mayor Kiryat Bialik, Eli Dukorski, the Deputy Mayor, Anat Warmbrand, City Council member Edva Balmes, Director of the Education Department , Ami Reuven and the director of the Mithra school, Tali Indivo.
