During a routine work day at a general clinic in Kiryat Shmariahu, Dr. Miyada Diav saved the life of a patient who complained of back pain.

Eliyahu Yefarah came to the clinic in the morning with a complaint of severe back pain from which he suffers. Dr. Miyada Diab, a family doctor at the clinic, accepted him for examination. The examination showed that Eliyahu was healthy, with no immediate signs of cardiac distress and a normal EKG test. Thanks to Dr. Miyada's vigilance and professionalism, she checked Eliyahu's medical history and noticed to significant risk factors in his medical history. She explained to Eliyahu that he should immediately go to the hospital for further tests, but he refused and insisted on returning to his home.
Because he felt good. Out of professional concern and medical responsibility, Dr. Miyada did not give up and called an ambulance for him
and immediately sent him to the emergency room.

Indeed, at the hospital they discovered a myocardial infarction and Eliyahu underwent bypass surgery that same day. After his recovery, Eliyahu returned to the clinic to express his gratitude to the doctor who without a doubt saved his life and gave him many more years to spend with his family. The Kiryat Shamariaho clinic of Klalit Haifa and Western Galilee district, under the management of Dr. Asala Inas, provides family medicine services, laboratory services, nurses, an office and a pharmacy.

  1. What a professional doctor!
Indeed, myocardial infarction is not always observed on the EKG chart and thanks to Dr. Maida Diav's knowledge and sense of responsibility, she made an accurate, correct and life-saving decision.
    A heartwarming story.
