(Hai Fe) - Haifa stand-up artist and content creator Liron Steingart, 42 years old, released his new book "Father Jokes with Father" at the height of the war, based on jokes from which he also created a viral video series together with his children. The book was published thanks to a crowdfunding project, and received warm responses from the audience. In addition, Steingart managed to donate about 100 books to the children of the Gaza Envelope.
Steingart shares in an interview with Lahi Pa about the path he took until the publication of the book, about the family that accompanies him in the creation process, and about the influence of Haifa on his professional path "My wife and I have always been Haifaites". Liron, married and the father of a 9-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, says that in recent years he has been creating content in the field of comedy.
It all started with family conversations, where he noticed that his daughter was telling the jokes he tells her before bed instead of reading her a story orally. That's how they started telling them together and passing them on to friends and family members on the family WhatsApp. Later, they decided to upload the videos online, and they became viral.
Today they have an impressive presence on social networks and millions of views, with about 60,000 followers on Tik Tok, over 70,000 on Facebook and close to 23,000 on Instagram, in addition to YouTube, advertising and sharing on social networks led to wide exposure and great success. "The second video already earned us an interview on Channel 13, and people started to recognize the girl," he says.

Edit the jokes for the book
The success was not limited only to the videos. After a while, Liron came up with the idea of writing a book. "We decided to take the best jokes, edit them and publish a book," he says. Through a crowdfunding project on the Hestart website, he managed to obtain the amount required for publication, and even exceeded it - NIS 39,000 - to publish the book. "It was a long and complex process of about 9 months, which included verbal editing, scoring, design and images, but in the end we published the book, and the reactions were very positive."
The book is a fun activity for parents and children and provides a formative comic relief for the whole family.
In addition, children can learn through language refinements about additional meanings of words and even get to know new words.
Liron notes that the success would not have been possible without the cooperation of his children, especially his daughter, who helps him deliver the jokes in an entertaining and unique way. "She increases the humor, in the way she presents the jokes. She has that talent."
Haifa - a developing culture
As part of the family talent, Steingart emphasizes the qualities of Haifa, the city where he lives, and which was a partner of his family in the stages of content creation and popularity. "I love Haifa. Even though my center in the field of stand-up and comedy is in Tel Aviv, I don't want to leave this city. I create here, and I believe that there is also room for Haifa to produce more stand-up stages like in Tel Aviv."
As part of his social involvement, Liron and his children donated more than 100 books to children in the surrounding area and participated in their distribution at Kibbutz Shafiim, where they got to know the Kfar Gaza community. "It was very exciting to see the children and parents receive the book. It is something I will not forget," he says.
"We plan to donate soon also to children in the children's department at Carmel Hospital," adds Liron and emphasizes the importance of donating and collaborating with the community. The book, which emphasizes family humor and offers funny and exciting moments, is available for purchase through the start.
