A 6-year-old girl was brought to the children's emergency department at Rambam with a pencil stuck in her head. The girl's condition is now described as light.
The girl arrived at the children's emergency room with the pencil stuck above her left eyebrow. According to the mother, this happened as part of a game, when two girls ran towards each other.
Dr. Muni Banifla, a specialist in pediatric neurosurgery, and Dr. Nitai Levy, a senior physician in the pediatric emergency room, pulled out the pencil after the blurring operation, to prevent the girl from feeling pain during the operation. The girl will remain under supervision in the children's department, to make sure that no infection has occurred where the pencil penetrated.
The salvation union said:
The medical teams of the Rescue Union provided first aid to a girl who was injured in an educational institution in the Galilee landscape.
Kudos to Rambam's medical team. Good and blessed morning to everyone.
Unfortunately, all this is under the influence of the media, the children take risks in the blink of an eye...violence like what they see on cell phones....I see it among children in homes and on the street 😙😙😙😙
Poor sweet girl. Thank God for the doctors who did an excellent and quick job.
