(Hai Fe) - Following electrification works on the Israel Railways, changes will be applied to the trains and bus lines will be increased starting Saturday 7/12/24.
The Ministry of Transportation informed Hai Pa News Corporation:
After the Israel Railways has completed about 70 percent of the entire electrification project, the railway is also accelerating the project in the south and north, with the aim of joining these communities to the electrification revolution and operating modern, green and quiet electric trains, which will significantly improve the service.
Due to the acceleration of the railroad electrification project, starting Saturday night, 7/12/24 and until further notice, changes will apply to train traffic in the south and north, mainly on Fridays, Saturday evenings and the night between Saturday and Sunday.
The Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety is working to reduce the temporary inconvenience to the traveling public by reinforcing the regular bus services in the areas affected by the railway works. Below is a breakdown of the bus reinforcements:
- Line 909 (Tel Aviv-Nahariya): Doubling of service on line 909 (via Haifa, Hadera and Netanya) starting at 12:00 on Friday until the end of the service and at all hours of operation.
- Line 910 (Tel Aviv-Haifa): Doubling the service on line 910 (Herzliya, Netanya, Hadera and other stations) from 12:00 on Friday until the end of the service and on Shrove Tuesday during all operating hours.
- New night line- 905 (Haifa-Natav): Operation of a night line between Haifa and Natav on a regular basis on the night between Saturday and Sunday, this is in order to provide an optimal response. It is important to note that on the rest of the nights the night train between Nahariya and Israel continues to operate as usual.
- Reinforcement of lines on Shabbat evening: adding 20 trips between Karmiel and Haifa on a regular basis.
- Route 380 (Be'er Sheva-Tel Aviv): continues to connect the cities on Fridays and Mochas.

Instead, maybe try to go from south to north on Motzash and vice versa.
