(Hai Fe) - In an operational activity initiated by Zebulon police officers in the Coast district, significant amounts of drugs, ammunition, and other equipment were uncovered in a residential apartment in Kiryat Yam.
The details revealed in the raid during the search, the officers located:
- About half a kilogram of substances suspected to be crystal drugs and marijuana.
- 5.56 mm ammunition rounds.
- "Operational" phones that are allegedly intended for use in criminal activity.
- Thousands of shekels in cash, suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking transactions.
The suspect, a 33-year-old resident of Kiryat Yam, was arrested on the spot and taken to the Zebulon station for questioning. At the end of the investigation he was imprisoned, and the police are expected to request the extension of his detention in court depending on the progress of the investigation.
