(haipo) - Dozens of protesters gathered this morning (Monday, 2.12.24) in the court hall square in Haifa, in protest against the arrest of four suspects who launched light bombs towards the Prime Minister's house in Caesarea. "Make a small mistake - make it big and ridiculous"

Among the protestors, friends and family members of the suspects, who stated that they are moral people with no criminal record. One of the people present at the scene said: "This arrest is a political arrest. Things got blown out of proportion. If it wasn't sad, it would be ridiculous."

The course of the investigation and arrest

According to the police and the Shin Bet, the incident took place about two weeks ago, when naval fireworks were fired from the beach in Caesarea, and two of them hit the yard of the Prime Minister's house. The suspects, among them Lieutenant Colonel (res.) Ofer Doron, Amir Sade, Itai Yaffe, and Adam Another, whose name has been withheld from publication, was arrested following the incident.

The detainees claimed during the investigation that they had no intention of harming the prime minister or his house, and expressed regret for their actions. Despite this, the police and the prosecutor's office are preparing to file serious charges against the suspects.

A serious indictment

The Haifa District Attorney's Office filed this morning (Monday 2/12/24) with the Haifa District Court a serious indictment against four defendants, Ofer Doron (63) and his son Gal Doron (27) from Zichron Ya'akov, Itai Yaffe (62) from Pardes Hana and Amir Sade (62). from Haifa The four are accused of the crimes of an act of terrorism, an act of recklessness with fire and attempted arson, after they shot marine lighting near the Prime Minister's house in Caesarea. In addition, Doron the father and the son are also accused of obstruction of justice. The prosecutor's office requests to order the arrest of the accused until the end of the legal proceedings.

According to the indictment, the four are members of the "Moked Caesarea" group, which organizes protests near the Prime Minister's private home. The purpose of the group, as stated, is to create pressure on the government and prevent political measures opposed by its members, until its overthrow. On November 16, the four arrived near the Prime Minister's house, equipped with emergency lights containing combustible materials. At a point about 270 meters from the Prime Minister's house, Gal Doron and Itai Yaffe fired the lights, under the guidance of Ofer Doron. The indictment states that one of the shots crossed the house and fell about 150 meters away from it, while burning, and caused a small fire in a bush near a security booth. The on-site security guard reported the incident and had to evacuate the pavilion for fear of injury.

Another light landed just two meters from the entrance hall of the Prime Minister's House, spreading smoke and a bright beam of light. Security guards on the spot used fire extinguishers to control the fire and prevent further damage.
After the incident, the accused threw away the remains of the bullets and gloves and fled the scene. They coordinated false versions among themselves, with the aim of disrupting the investigation. Ofer Doron, it is claimed, claimed that he was responsible for launching the light, in order to hide the involvement of his son Gal.

The indictment emphasizes the great risk posed by the defendants' actions:

"The actions were carried out with the aim of conveying a message to the Prime Minister and the general public, with a real risk to human life and property in a dense residential area." It was also claimed that the defendants knew that their actions could cause a fire and panic among the public. In view of the seriousness of the offenses, the attorney's office asks the court to order the arrest of the four until the end of the legal proceedings against them, claiming that their release could pose a danger to the public and disrupt the ongoing investigation.

The first hearing in the case is expected to be held in the coming weeks, and the prosecution intends to present to the court all the evidence against the defendants, including the documentation of the incident and internal correspondence found in the investigation.

  1. This is not a small mistake, this is a very dangerous situation where they crossed all the red lines, tomorrow everyone will do something like this and claim that they were wrong.
This is a planned act and a person with a very senior rank in the army, for whom such an act is no longer a mistake, a deliberate act behind which something is hidden... otherwise he would not have committed such an act that strengthens our enemy.
The quartet must be punished with all the severity of the law so that they can see and be seen.
And those who demonstrate for those who committed a vile and offensive act, strengthen such acts by their demonstration while exalting democracy in their mouths, short and vile people just like those who committed the act.

  2. In my opinion they are at the level of terrorists
    No less than Michael...
It seems to me that there was an attempt to check the area and vigilance before
    Assassination of a Prime Minister???
The punishment must be made worse with these terrorist criminals

  3. We must be punished for such an act. But treating them as criminals is a mistake. People from the settlement who in the heat of the debate went too far.

  4. The naysayers are right. For example, a well-known crime family from Afula has been bothering me for years, and no police officer from the Haifa police station lifted a finger in my defense. But for the sake of the corrupt Netanyahu, who seized power by deception and brought disasters on the people of Israel and for his crazy wife, they will scold all the security forces for nonsense.

  5. The demonstrators who came to protest a just arrest should also be arrested, whose democracy is being exploited for anarchy and who complain that there is no democracy.

  6. Only my father, the purple corrupt swindler, will be erased by his name and remember that there are four open cases against him that have not been judged and they also gave him a pass to become prime minister.

  7. Insolent people who encourage these criminals, if these are moral people, I don't know what criminals are, they were sure that these lunatics would not touch them, if God forbid the Prime Minister was hurt, there would be a civil war here, these lunatics belong behind bars. for many years. Delusional people who crossed all possible limits.

  8. But if these were, let's say, 3 boys from the hills shooting the same light bombs only at Prime Minister Bennett's house two years ago, they would have been in custody until the trial with a demand for 5-10 years in prison and comparisons at the Legal Amir agency.
Just to teach you how hypocritical and despicable those on the left are who came to demonstrate for the criminals today.

  9. A few years' imprisonment. , and a high financial penalty
The proper punishment for this group of terrorists
    unequivocally…

  10. fireworks event??? Have you lost your mind??? There was a performance at Caesarea by Shlomo Artzi and they just lit fireworks???

    • From hell yes, righteous why? And if it was at Lapid's villa, wouldn't there be protesters for 5 years in prison and claim that this is Rabin's days and on the way to assassinate a prime minister in Israel? Of course it is.

  11. Shame and disgrace to all his friends and family members who did not see that they behaved like criminals
Not a real joke. They also hit the policewoman who was guarding the building and explosions came over the building as she was sitting there guarding. The left knows how to look at other criminals, their own hump, you don't see it as the worst. It is not possible to witness whatever they want, they crossed the line and exaggerated everything that is allowed to them. Nem are not entirely to blame. Since the counselor did not identify them, they behaved as criminals and not Amr. They then felt that everything was allowed. Therefore she must also be punished.

  12. The madwoman demands to be recognized as a victim of madness so she ordered to arrest them as the terrorists. Crazy all over the head and forcing the rag next to her to implement her sick whims. Forced hospitalization and fast!!!

    • Gold, what you wrote proves that you have been through something, the soldier, when you wrote nonsense. If your house was thrown, what would you do, stay silent and not sue the person who hurt you. I'm talking behavior between Agam and his friend, it is absolutely forbidden to witness what they did. Although in the past there were soldiers and they contributed. Yes, me and my family members, so we have a product to burn down your neighbor's house or just a civilian. Shame on you if you teach to behave like a criminal, their behavior is criminal and it is also forbidden to burn roads, this damages the road and is an expense to all tax payers. You are fed up with them taking the law into your hands and putting our symbols on others. You are fed up with the prison where it belongs. It's time to set limits, not everything is allowed for the left, they will pay for their actions like everyone else. No protections!

    • Gold, you are absolutely right. Ignore the delusional bibist bots with their usual responses. A police force that does not lift a finger to protect an honest citizen from the crime families, will rattle the entire country for a lying and corrupt prime minister and his crazy wife. Because that's how police officers progress.

  13. If they were offensive, it was also a small mistake
Bored protesters have nothing to do just see their face you see grumbling
