(Hai Fe) - In recent days, a large-scale operation of the Haifa station took place in the Carmel area, in the Coast District of the Israel Police, in cooperation with Haifa Municipality officials. As part of the operation, seven buildings in the city, which were used for illegal activity, were sealed, including gambling houses, brothels and places for drug consumption, in violation of court orders.
The operation, which was led by the security and licensing officer from the Haifa station, was designed to strengthen governance and sovereignty in the area and improve the quality of life of the residents living nearby. During the activity, the entrances and exits of the buildings, which were disguised as innocent offices but were actually used for serious crimes, were burned.
In addition, a weekly monitoring mechanism was established to be carried out by the police to make sure that the sealed buildings will not be used again for illegal activity.
The current operation joins a series of proactive activities carried out by the Haifa Police to eradicate crime in the city and restore a sense of security to the residents. The police emphasized that they will continue to act with determination to prevent the return of illegal activity in the affected areas and to ensure ongoing enforcement.
