A multidisciplinary festival for participatory art • from "Culture Movement"
On December 5-7, the "Shetef" festival will be held in the Haifa Museum of Art and in the building of the Art Conservatory next to it - a multidisciplinary festival from the "Cultural Movement" that combines social art in its content and form. The Art Incubator Program of the Haifa Museums was born out of a desire to encourage and nurture social art and artists working within and with communities. This festival echoes these values and the Haifa museums are happy to host it. The audience is invited to share and participate in it free of charge.

The festival will include open-circuit theater performances, concerts and public singing with live music, music that grew out of the evacuated north, a garbage orchestra that is built and engages the audience in real time, authentic videos shot during wartime by civilians, dance performances that turn viewers into dancers, surprising candy sculptures , parties and more. For details and the full schedule.

According to Oz Zaloff, the curator of the art incubator Meam and the artistic director of the festival: "In days when it is difficult to imagine a shared future, the "Share" festival comes and offers something different - a moment of human connection through art. The festival invites the audience to collaborate, create, and connect. The shows and events The festival focuses on issues of identity, relationships and the challenges of Israeli reality, using original works that emerged "from the field". The "Share" festival is an invitation - not just to watch art, but to be Part of it. This is a moment of hope, of joint creation and of a clear statement: it is also possible.

"The Place Art Incubator has become in recent years a national center for participatory art and art connected to the community. In my eyes, this is the future of art, and this is where the Share Festival was born. It is important for us to create an artistic experience that is connected to the audience and at eye level."
According to Ofir Ben Ari, Deputy Director of Culture Movement:
This festival is so necessary these days, to be together, to leave the house for an experience that creates hope. A culture movement works to support the victims of the war and the displaced communities and also works to tell our story as a society. Art and artists play an important role in shaping our narrative and creating the image of the future. The fact that this festival is attended by dozens of artists from the northern region and all over the country is the proof that our most important infrastructure is the human spirit.

Two group exhibitions are currently being presented at the Place Art Incubator:
The first is the exhibition "All my present is in what is going to happen" - an exhibition that presents the photography and painting works of 3 artists: Iris Barnea, Mai Deas and Dalit Proter. The second is a video collection from the project "73-23 video salon between two wars" from the creator of Zumo, the museum on the road.
