(haipo) - A 32-year-old woman turns to Rambam after being shot in her home.
MDA informed Lahi Pa:
At 10:55 (Sun. 17/11/24) a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the Carmel area about a woman who was injured in a violent incident on Haifak Street.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer to Rambam Hospital, a 32-year-old woman in moderate condition, with a penetrating injury.
The police informed Haifa:
First - the police started an investigation a short time ago after receiving a report about a gunshot wound in her 30s, in her apartment in Haifa. According to medical officials, the woman was evacuated from the scene in a light and stable condition.
Police forces from the Haifa station and forensic investigators from the Coastal District are on the scene and have begun investigative operations, collecting findings and evidence along with searches for suspected suspects.
The background to the incident is under investigation.
The salvation union said:
The medical teams of the Rescue Union provided first aid to a woman (32 years old) who was moderately injured on Haifa's Electric Street.
Shloimi Feder, a medic from the Rescue Union, said:
"We gave her initial medical aid and then she was referred to Rambam Hospital with a penetrating injury. Her condition at this stage is moderate."
