The municipality of Kiryat Bialik, through the economic company, is making vigorous progress in the construction of the new sports complex in the Neot Afek neighborhood. These days the project has entered the final phase with the installation of high-quality synthetic grass that meets FIFA standards in the training ground, while at the same time alignment and leveling work is being carried out, and connection to water and drainage systems.
The new complex includes an advanced training field that will serve the soccer academy and the youth and senior departments of Maccabi Tzur Shalom. The field is equipped with a stand for 350 spectators, and near it are the offices of the youth department, judges' rooms, locker rooms for the teams and an equipment warehouse.
At the same time, the construction of the main stadium is progressing, which in the first phase will contain about 500 seats. The stadium will be equipped with an advanced lighting system that will allow games and training during the hours of darkness. After consulting with agronomists, it was determined that the natural grass will be planted in the months of March-April, with a growing period of about three months.
The new complex
The new complex, designed by the architect Danny Kider from the company A.B. plans, will also include a gym, instructors' room and warehouses for use by the local group. All the facilities are adapted to the standards of the national league and above, and the stadium will serve as the new home of the Maccabi Tzur Shalom team.
Mayor, Eli Dukorski:
The new stadium is a significant step in the development of the city's sports infrastructure. This is a complex that will be a warm home not only for professional athletes, but for all residents of the city interested in sports activities. The central location and excellent accessibility, especially with the completion of the pedestrian bridge, will allow every resident to enjoy advanced and high-quality sports facilities.
The project fits into the urban concept of concentrating public buildings, education and sports in one complex, which allows residents to enjoy a variety of activities in one central place.
And what about the tennis court complex?
They could build a great sports city.
