(Hai Fe) - Haifa City Council member and Chairman of the Authority for the Absorption of Aliyah, Kiril Kartnik, makes a public appeal to the Haifa Municipality regarding repeated problems related to the conduct of the general inspection at 10 Selizian Street. Kartnik, who received several inquiries from residents and business owners who live and work in the area, points out Serious violations regarding the issue of parking on the spot, while fearing preferential treatment given to one of the neighbors.
According to Kartnik, a complaint recently received from a concerned resident and business owner points to the conduct of a neighbor, who runs a printing house, who uses several public parking spaces for his personal needs. According to the residents, he blocks two indoor parking lots, uses another outdoor parking lot and occupies another parking lot with another vehicle. According to the residents, despite many requests to the municipality and the municipal supervision - nothing was done, and there is a strong feeling of preferential treatment towards that neighbor.
The repeated disappearances of the inspection may harm residents and businesses in the area
References indicate that the city inspectors repeatedly ignore the case and conduct a friendly dialogue with the perpetrator instead of enforcing the law. Kartnik expresses his concern that the repeated disappearances of the inspection may harm residents and businesses in the area, precisely at a time when any income is critical.
"I call for immediate and uncompromising treatment on the part of the General Inspectorate," said Kartnik, adding, "It must be ensured that the enforcement of municipal laws is carried out in an equitable and impartial manner. This conduct is unacceptable, and the Inspectorate is expected to protect public order and ensure fair treatment for all residents of the city."
No response was given from the Haifa municipality.
All over the city there is a problem with politicians here and there and the municipal supervision is conducted like a mafia. If you know the inspector, stop where you want. Some pecs are violent to the point of physical assault.
What needs to be done, first and foremost, is to abolish the municipal policing, an inspector is not a policeman, he does not have the proper qualifications and he cannot be trained. Secondly, inspectors should be prohibited from threatening residents, which some actually do.
This trouble began in the days of Amram Mitzna, one of the three most failed mayors in the history of Haifa and a consistent person who makes sure to fail in every position he held, when he let Bnei Deutsch act like the municipal sheriff. From there the situation only got worse.
That's how picky bypassing is in this whole city, we're fed up!!
Your friend is an inspector, you will never get a report in your life!
Like in Kibbutz Galvot 89
all due respect! successfully! You have to hit the pockets of the insolent people, maybe later they will understand something.
The whole city is one big traffic violation. All the streets in the lower city are blocked with double parking, the hummus area, the shawarmas, the Wadi Nisnas area, the Carmel center, Hadar, Allenby Street... parking on sidewalks, double parking, blocking roads and everything you can think of. And that's even before talking about the driving culture.
I really don't understand why there is zero enforcement in the city.
I always tell people who come to Haifa, park wherever you want, park even in the middle of the road, it doesn't matter, no one enforces anything anyway. Of course they don't, but it's said out of frustration.
