(haipo) - The installation of three new horns in the neighborhoods: Neve Shanan, Ramat Eshkol and Kiryat Shmuel was completed.
The horns were installed following inquiries from residents, who complained that they did not hear the alarms in their area of residence. References were examined by the Home Front Command, which determined that there is indeed a need to reinforce the horns in these neighborhoods.
Following the Home Front Command's determination, the representatives of the municipality and the Defense Forces conducted a joint tour of the aforementioned neighborhoods and determined the best location for installing the horns on urban buildings that meet the Home Front Command's installation requirements.
The Haifa municipality continues to examine every request that is forwarded on the matter to the municipal hotline 106 in order to ensure that the retirement of the horns in the city provides a response to all residents. Referrals are forwarded to the Home Front Command for professional review.
The city of Haifa is divided into five warning zones, in each of which the alarm is activated only when there is a real danger to the population living there. The five areas are: Neve Shanan and Ramot Carmel, West Ha'ir, Carmel Hadar and Lower City, Kiryat Haim and Shmuel and the Haifa Bay area.
The municipality repeats and recommends that residents download the Home Front Command applet and select all five warning areas in Haifa. This way you can get accurate information in real time about the areas where the alarm is activated and where you must enter a protected space. You can also receive important updates in the application during an emergency and contact the Home Front Command. The applet is available in Hebrew, Arabic, Russian and English languages.
Kiryat Haim and Kiryat Shmorel is not Haifa, it's time to say goodbye to them, but the old man who failed wants more property tax
Good Morning.
In K. Eliezer you can hardly hear the horns.
For the treatment of the Home Front Command and the Municipality of Haifa.
Thanks.
In Ramat Eshkol you installed the horn on a kindergarten! Why stress them more??
The widget works feverishly. Nothing warns.
This is done on purpose - they try to put the public to sleep as if it were a routine
Until there is some disaster and then they say they are investigating...
The horn that was installed on the Leo-Bek Brigade should be moved to the military base further down Tchernihovsky Street.
