Haifa police officers started an investigation about a month ago after receiving a report about a car being set on fire in the city.
The station's investigators began determined investigative operations using advanced technological means during which they revealed the identity of the suspects, 20-year-old residents of Haifa and another 19-year-old suspect came to them and detained them for questioning at the station, in the end they were imprisoned and their detention was extended from time to time.

At the end of the investigation, the police managed to establish an evidentiary infrastructure against the suspects in the commission of their actions and a prosecutor's statement was submitted against them by the Coast District Attorney's Office with a request for their arrest until the end of the proceedings.
