Car accident on HaGalil Street in Haifa: two electric bicycle riders were injured in a collision with a bus
(Hai Fe) - At 01:03 a report was received at MDA's 101 call center in the Carmel region about a traffic accident between a bus and electric bicycle riders on HaGalil Street in Haifa. MDA medics and paramedics arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment to a 26-year-old man in moderate condition with a head injury, who was referred to Rambam Hospital for further treatment.
Rescue Union volunteers also arrived at the scene of the incident and treated the two injured cyclists: a 25-year-old young man in moderate condition and another 16-year-old in mild condition, who was also taken to the Rambam Hospital by a Rescue Union ambulance.
A rescue organization told Lahi Pa: Because the organization's units were called to the scene and assisted in the treatment of a 26-year-old man who suffered a head injury. Rescue medic Menachem Nir, who arrived at the scene, described: "I found the cyclist suffering from a head injury following a collision with the bus. Together with MDA medics and paramedics, we gave him initial medical treatment, including immobilization and dressings, and he was taken to the hospital in moderate condition."
The condition of the injured is not considered to be life-threatening, and the police have started an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
