The suspect who was driving the car, a 23-year-old resident of Tirat Carmel, was detained for questioning at the Tirat Carmel station, and was eventually arrested and imprisoned.

In accordance with the needs of the investigation and its findings, the police requested to extend his detention at the court in Haifa, which granted the request and the suspect was detained until 7/11/24.
