(haipo) - A resident of Dalit Al Carmel, 27 years old, was arrested on suspicion of shooting at a residence and parked vehicles in the Zuchaluk neighborhood in Usafia. The incident ended without casualties, but caused great concern among the residents.
The investigation began after police forces from the Nesher station were called to the scene in Usafia following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, the police located the scene of the incident and the vehicles that were hit by the shooting. The investigation teams collected evidence and preliminary findings in order to reach the identity of the suspects.
At the end of extensive investigative operations, and using advanced technological tools, the investigators were able to identify the suspect - a 27-year-old resident of Dalit Al Carmel. The police arrested him for questioning at the Nesher station, and at the end of the investigation it was decided to extend his detention at the Haifa Magistrate's Court until 3/11/24.
The Coastal District Police emphasize that they will continue to operate with zero tolerance towards incidents of violence and shooting, while investing all the necessary resources, visible and hidden, in order to keep the criminals away and ensure public safety.
