Sde Boker - a desert paradise
I jumped into a desert paradise whose name is Sde Boker.
This is a charming southern corner and a charm that is especially recommended these days when Israeli families are looking for some calm and peace in this crazy time.
You can visit the Ben-Gurion Midrasah, while Ben-Gurion's tomb has one of the most beautiful views of the Tzuk Tzinim.
During this period the goats walk for pleasure on the midrash boardwalk.
Points of interest in the area
Ben Gurion Barracks in Sde Boker is an interesting attraction for all members of the family. The hut has been preserved as it was and you can get an impression of the modest life of the couple Paula and David Ben-Gurion based on the items.
A trip on foot or by bike along the Ben Gurion Promenade is also a fun attraction. A 3.5 km long boardwalk on the edge of the cliff overlooks the view of Nahal Tzin, the Tzin Cliff and Ramat Abdat. Highly recommend.
Ein Abdat National Park, Hamed corner at the foot of the Ben-Gurion Synagogue, a must visit.
Courtship season with the goats
Autumn is the season of courtship for the deer and this is the season to watch the wonderful nature of the courtship of the deer.
We humans certainly have something to learn...
You can see the course of courtship at all hours of the day (the members never get tired).
During the courtship season, the male goats fight among themselves for the right to impregnate the females. Examining whether the female is fertilized is carried out by bending the head forward and sticking out the tongue.
Keeping the goats
Most importantly, don't feed goats! Even if you think they are really hungry, remember the rule: human food is not intended for wild animals.
The gazelle is the king of the cliffs. A magical and beautiful sight is the image of a goat climbing a cliff with its horns at the peak of their glory.
Watch them from a distance and respect their living space.
I wish all of us a calm and quiet week and look forward to the moment when we will be informed that all the abductees have returned to their homes.
Wow what a beauty
